Will DeBoer enters his sixth year in as a member of the Salisbury University Department of Athletic Communications in 2025-26.

DeBoer is the primary media contact for Sea Gull baseball, golf, swimming, tennis, and volleyball. He is also heavily involved in production and staffing of the student-run Sea Gull Sports Network (SGSN). DeBoer served as Interim Sports Information Director from during the 2023-24 athletics season.

DeBoer arrived at SU during the 2020-21 season after spending 2016-20 as Director of Broadcasting and Communications for the Delmarva Shorebirds, a minor league affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles in Salisbury, as well as Director of Broadcasting for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne. He served as play-by-play broadcaster and chief media relations officer for Shorebirds baseball and Hawk men's and women's basketball.

DeBoer is a member of College Sports Communicators (CSC, formerly CoSIDA) and the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America (STAA). He was recognized by CSC in the 2024-25 Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest, earning national runner-up and top District 2 honors in the Historical Feature category, College Division.

A native of West Lafayette, Ind., DeBoer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from Hope College (Mich.) in May 2014 and a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University (Ga.) in May 2016. He lives in Fruitland with his wife Keirsten, herself a 2016 graduate of Salisbury University, and daughter.
