MINNEAPOLIS - In the first rankings of the season by D3soccer.com, the Salisbury University men's soccer team was ranked No. 8 in the country.
The maroon and gold opened the 2015 campaign with a 3-0 week, including a two-win title performance at their own Elmer Lord Soccer Classic. Salisbury received 663 points in the opening poll.
In-conference foe, Christopher Newport University topped the poll as the No. 1 team, bringing in 840 points, with two first-place votes.
