INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA announced the participants for the Division III men's singles and doubles tennis championships on Wednesday and Salisbury University junior Alec Angradi earned a spot in the singles draw.
Angradi went 9-4 in singles play during the 2019 season, his first with the Sea Gulls after transferring into the program. Against players ranked nationally, Angradi was 2-0, with a 4-1 mark against regionally-ranked foes.
The Ellicott City, Maryland native is the first Sea Gull to be selected for the championship since 2016 when Eric Spangler made the field for the singles draw.
Angradi is one of 32 players in the singles draw, to be played May 24-26 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The matchups for the draw will be revealed on May 23.
