KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Salisbury University men's tennis junior Alec Angradi battled to a third set in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championship, but fell to Washington (Mo.) University's Bernardo Neves.
Angradi fell in the first set by a 6-4 score before rebounding to take the second set by the same 6-4 score. In the final set it was Neves, the ninth-ranked singles player in the central region, who would prevail, earning a 6-2 win in the third set.
Angradi finishes out the year with a 4-2 record against players in the regional rankings, and a 9-5 record overall in singles play.
