Men's, women's lacrosse, softball NCAA tournament brackets to be released on
INDIANAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men's and women's lacrosse and softball teams will find out their NCAA tournament plans in the coming days when the organization announces the respective tournament fields via selection shows.

On Sunday, the brackets for the men's and women's lacrosse championships will be released, beginning with the women's selection show, at 9:30 p.m. Head Coach Jim Nestor's club, which comes into the tournament ranked No. 1, earned the automatic berth in the field with a win in the Capital Athletic Conference championship game on April 28.

The men's selection show will follow the women's, beginning at 10 p.m. The men, who are also currently ranked No. 1 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association coaches' poll, will be making their 24th consecutive tournament appearance and aim to defend their ninth NCAA title. Head Coach Jim Berkman's team claimed the CAC's automatic berth by topping Stevenson University in the league's title game on April 28.

Head Coach Margie Knight's No. 17 softball squad will find out where it is headed when the tournament field is announced Monday, May 7 at 10 a.m. The softball team, which has won 25 games in a row, earned the automatic berth with a 9-1 win against Frostburg State University in the CAC championship game on April 28.
