Marita Van Dyke enters her third season as an assistant softball coach in 2026. She has helped the Sea Gulls win 75 games over the last two seasons along with two NCAA Regional Championships.
Van Dyke joined Salisbury after spending the previous two seasons at Franklin (Ind.) College as an assistant coach. The Grizzlies posted an overall record of 52-33 during the time Van Dyke was in the dugout, including a program-best 31 wins during the 2023 season.
Prior to arriving at Franklin, Van Dyke served as an assistant coach at Concordia University Chicago for two seasons. She played collegiately at Concordia Chicago. where she sits first overall in both career pitching wins and the single-season RBI list.Â
A native of Brownsburg, Ind., Van Dyke graduated from Concordia Chicago in 2019 and 2021, first receiving a B.A. in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology and then an M.A. in Sports Leadership.
