GENEVA, Ohio – Jamie Farley took the track one last time as a member of the Salisbury University track & field program on Friday afternoon at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPRIE Institute.
"It's not exactly how we wanted to finish but when you look at Jamie's overall career she had been truly outstanding over the last four years," head coach Jim Jones.
Farley placed 22nd overall in the 400-meter dash, crossing the finish line in a time of 58.76 seconds.
"It was a great way to finish my running career at Salisbury and it was a goal of mine to complete all my time here," Farley said. "I'm glad I was able to represent the school one last time and also do my part in helping support the track & field team."
"The number of school records, conference records, and conference championships she has attained as an individual will be something for others to strive for and surpass. She has set a very high standard for others to reach and I am so proud and thankful for her contributions to our program," Jones concluded.
