Bollhorst earns second CAC Player of the Week award

YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its weekly women's lacrosse awards and Salisbury University senior Katie Bollhorst collected the league's Offensive Player of the Week award for second time this season.

Bollhorst not only scored eight goals and added nine assists in three wins, including two against nationally ranked opponents, but her second assist against CAC foe Frostburg State University on Saturday was the 150th of her career, giving her the most in program history.

The Severna Park, Md., native has now put up 119 goals and 154 assists in her four years in maroon and gold. She ranks third in program history with 273 career points.

Salisbury won three times last week, to finish the regular season 16-0; it is the fourth undefeated regular season in program history.

The team is the top seed in the CAC tournament this week, and received a first-round bye. The Gulls will host a CAC semifinal game at Sea Gull Stadium on Saturday, April 27.
