Women’s lacrosse remains at No. 5 in IWLCA poll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released the Division III coaches poll on Monday afternoon and Salisbury University remained at the No. 5 spot in this week's rankings.

The Sea Gulls received 532 points to remain at No. 5 after a 2-0 week in which they defeated No. 23 Rowan University, 14-10, and Washington (Md.) College, 15-8.

Gettysburg College remained at No. 1, receiving 625 points and all 25 first-place votes. Franklin & Marshall College jumped to No. 2 with 582 points, while Washington and Lee University stayed at No. 3 with 559 points. Fellow Capital Athletic Conference member University of Mary Washington dropped two spots to No. 4 with 555 points.

York College of Pennsylvania held its spot at No. 7 with 476 points.

Salisbury hosts Meredith College on Tuesday, March 12 at 7 p.m.
