Women's lacrosse moves up one spot to No. 4 in IWLCA poll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released its latest Division III coaches' poll on Monday and Salisbury University moved up one spot to No. 4 this week.

The Sea Gulls received 540 points to come in just behind fellow Capital Athletic Conference member University of Mary Washington, who checked in at No. 3 with 569 points.

Salisbury climbed one spot after winning its lone game of the week against No. 15 State University of New York at Cortland, 14-7.

Gettysburg College remained the unanimous top team, receiving 625 points and all 25 first-place votes. Washington and Lee University garnered 598 points to move up one spot to No. 2, while Middlebury College rounded out the top five with 511 points.

The CAC has two other teams ranked in the top 25, with York College of Pennsylvania dropping one spot to No. 8 with 447 points and St. Mary's College of Maryland sitting at No. 25 with 37 points.

The Sea Gulls host No. 5 Middlebury College on Monday, March 25 at 4 p.m.
