With only two years of varsity experience behind its back, the 1996 Salisbury University women's soccer team put together an astounding 17-3 record. The Sea Gulls would then win four more games before losing  a pair of games in late September. Salisbury would rebound with 11 consecutive wins, two of which were in the CAC tournament.
