SALISBURY, Md. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its weekly awards on Monday and Salisbury University freshman goalkeeper Michelle Conrad was named the CAC Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
Conrad helped the Gulls to a three-win week, allowing just one goal in more than 250 minutes in goal while making 14 saves. Salisbury topped Rowan University, Christopher Newport University and Hood College during the week for the program's first three-game winning streak since late in the 2009 season.
Salisbury will be back in action on Wednesday, hosting Marymount (Va.) University at the SU Soccer Complex, beginning at 4 p.m.
