Women’s Soccer earns 2018-19 USC Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced its Team Academic Award winners and the Salisbury University women's soccer team made the list following the 2018-19 season.

The Sea Gulls, under seventh-year head coach Kwame Lloyd, was awarded Team Academic honors for the fifth time in program history with a combined team grade-point average on 3.45.  The Sea Gulls were one of 647 women's teams that earned the Team Academic Award and one of 257 schools that both their men's and women's programs were among the recipients.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2018-19 academic year.

Salisbury returns to action on Saturday when it travels to St. Mary's to face the Seahawks in conference action. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. Live stats and video will be provided by St. Mary's.
