Women’s Soccer at eighth in regional rankings

INDIANAPOLIS – The Salisbury University women's soccer team appeared in both the NCAA and United Soccer Coaches (USC) South-Atlantic Regional Rankings.

Salisbury has an overall record of 13-3-3 and 9-0-1 in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) to be slotted at eighth in the region. The Sea Gulls carried a 14-game unbeaten streak to earn the top-seed in the CAC Championship Tournament, for the first time since 2012 season.

TCNJ, Christopher Newport and Centre were the top three teams in both organizations' polls. Randolph-Macon and Emory round out the top-five in both rankings.

Salisbury will wait for a chance to be an at-large team in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The field will be announced on Monday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.
