DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its monthly soccer award winners and Salisbury University junior goalkeeper Emma Hill was named the ECAC Division III South Region Defensive Player of the Month for October.
After collecting her third and fourth Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Player of the Week honors in October, Hill earned monthly honors for the second time due to her consistency in the net. Hill started in all nine games in the month of October totaling 755:10 minutes in the net. Hill collected 29 saves for a .935 save percentage. Hill also helped lead her team to eight shutouts in October while climbing up on Salisbury University's top-10 all-time career saves and goals-against average for women's soccer.
Hill was one of eight Salisbury women's soccer players to be named to the All-CAC First Team, which was announced last week.
