YORK, Pa. – Salisbury University sophomore Victoria Radcliffe won the first Capital Athletic Conference Women's Swimming Athlete of the Week award of the season, the CAC announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Radcliffe has had a fantastic start to her sophomore campaign so far this season, tallying five first-place finishes in the first week of action.
In the first meet of the season against Rowan University on Tuesday, October 21, Radcliffe placed first in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:14.46 and contributed to the 400-meter freestyle relay that finished first at 4:20.62.
On Saturday, October 28 against Catholic University of America, Radcliffe claimed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:03.20, the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:41.80 and the 200-yard individual medley, notching a time of 2:20.84.
Salisbury will travel to swim against York College of Pennsylvania in their first CAC meet of the year on Saturday. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
