NORFOLK, Va. – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America announced its Scholar All-America Teams and the Salisbury University women's swimming squad was recognized for its stellar work in the classroom.
The Sea Gulls were one of 720 teams which earned a spring 2017 team grade-point average of at least 3.0, with Salisbury's swimmers coming through with a team 3.45 GPA.
This marked the first time in the 95-year history of the CSCAA that more than 700 teams have earned the honor.
The team placed fifth in the Capital Athletic Conference championships in February, with senior Victoria Radcliffe earning All-CAC honors.
The returning Sea Gulls begin the 2017-18 season on Saturday, October 21 when they host Catholic University of America at Maggs Physical Activities Center.
