Andrew Barbieri '24 was named Sports Information Assistant in the fall of 2025.
Barbieri is a familiar face around Sea Gull athletics, having served as a longtime broadcaster for the Sea Gull Sports Network (SGSN). He served as the lead play-by-play voice for hundreds of live broadcasts from 2021-24, calling NCAA Tournament games for SU football, field hockey, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse, as well as Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) championships in women's soccer and volleyball.
Barbieri graduated from Salisbury following the fall 2024 semester with a B.A. in Communication with a focus on Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Marketing. In addition to his work with SGSN, Barbieri provided his voice talents to SU student radio station WXSU during his time as an undergraduate.
