COCOA, Fla. - The No. 20 Salisbury University
baseball team topped Rowan College 14-7 Wednesday morning as the
Sea Gulls rounded out their Spring Break trip at the Cocoa Expo
with their third win in as many days.
Salisbury (14-1) ace senior Ryan Bennick
recorded his fifth victory of the season and remained undefeated
while junior Eric Willey came on to record his
first save of the season.
The maroon and gold had another outstanding offensive
performance in Cocoa as they scored 14 runs off of 16 hits. Senior
Brian Camper hit two home runs while teammate
senior Justin Armiger drove in five runs for the
Sea Gulls.
SU outscored its three opponents by 42 runs (55-13). The Gulls
slugged 11 home runs in the three games as the team had just five
fielding errors.
