SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University
volleyball team shot out to a 2-1 game lead in its match against
Virginia Wesleyan College on the second and final day of the Sea
Gull Volleyball Classic at Maggs Physical Activities Center, but
the Marlins fought back and eventually captured a 3-2 victory. This
is only the Gulls' second loss of the season, bringing their

Salisbury was led by senior outside hitter Rachel Downes
(Salisbury, Md.), who posted 17 kills in the match, and
freshman middle hitter Chelsea Glowacki (Poolesville,

hit the road as the Sea Gulls face Capital Athletic Conference foe
Marymount University on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m.
Virginia Wesleyan College captured the top spot of the
tournament, going 3-0 in two days of play. The All-Tournament team
