CARLISLE, Pa. – The Salisbury University volleyball team quickly rebounded from a pair of losses in the first day of the Dickinson Invitational with a 3-0 win against Allegheny College on Saturday afternoon, followed by a 3-0 victory against Lebanon Valley College, in the second and final day of competition.

Salisbury (6-2) cruised to a 25-12, 25-19, 25-20 victory against Allegheny with a slew of solid performances on the court. Sophomore Chelsea Glowacki, who continues to put up big numbers for the maroon and gold, registered nine kills, one ace and one block assist in the match. Classmate Carley Todd chipped in eight kills and seven digs; on Friday evening, the Centerport, N.Y., native put up a combined 32 digs in the Sea Gulls' two matches.

Additionally, senior Melissa Stansbury contributed to Salisbury's cause with three kills and nine digs. Fellow outside hitter Kelly Vieira, a sophomore, put up the same number of kills to go with her 10 digs.

The Sea Gulls' 25-14, 25-22, 25-14 win against Lebanon Valley marked the team's sixth 3-0 victory this season. Stansbury registered five kills and 15 digs, while Vieira posted a team-high 16 digs in the match. The Sea Gull defense proved to be a difference-maker as well; Vieira posted a solo block and four block assists, while Glowacki had two solo blocks and one block assist to go with her 10 kills.

Salisbury will remain on the road for its next contest, a Capital Athletic Conference match-up at St. Mary's (Md.) College on Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. The Sea Gulls' home opener will take place on the weekend of Sept. 17-18 when they host the SU Invitational. Salisbury's first match of that competition, against Eastern University, is set for 5 p.m. on Sept. 17.
