Down 1-0 in the second game, Salisbury broke open a 14-14 tie with a 4-0 run that included kills from Julie Poston and Vieira and a block by Vieira and Todd and didn't give up the lead on its way to tying the match at one.

The Eagles took the final two games of the match. Juniata College built an eight-point lead, 24-16, late in the third and cruised to the win, securing the 2-1 advantage.

In the fourth game, the Sea Gulls earned a 14-11 lead on a Vieira block but the Eagles rallied to take a 16-15 lead on a Rachelle Wiegand kill and eventually the match on another Wiegard kill.

The Eagles were led by Kelsey Fuller with a match-high 14 kills. Wiegand chipped in with 13 kills as well and 10 digs for one of two Juniata double-doubles in the match. Courtney Greenberg had the other, registering a match-best 46 assists while adding 15 digs.

SU erased a 19-16 CNU lead in the first game to take a two-point win on a Meehan service ace. The Captains bounced back to take the second game, holding the Gulls to just six points after the game was knotted at 10-all.

The Sea Gulls went back up by one as Seifert converted a swing that made it 15-14 and SU didn't look back. The Captains, though, took the final two sets to win the match.
