The Sea Gulls broke an early tie in the second game to jump out to comfortable lead at 15-9 when Todd and Glowacki teamed up for a block, forcing a Mary Washington timeout. The Eagles closed to within one point on three occasions but Glowacki ended the game with a kill, assisted by Todd, for the win.

The Sea Gulls led, 8-5, at the changeover in the fifth game, putting the match away with an emphatic Glowacki swing down the middle and Seifert ace to ensure the victory.
