HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Salisbury University women's basketball team won its fourth straight game on Saturday afternoon, defeating Penn State University Harrisburg, 73-42, in Capital Athletic Conference action. All four wins have come by double digits, with an average margin of victory of nearly 20 points a game.

After trailing 17-16 going into the second quarter, Salisbury (10-7, 5-5 CAC) outscored Harrisburg (6-11, 1-9 CAC) 57-25 in the final three quarters. The Sea Gulls took a 24-23 lead on a Morgan Grubb three-pointer with 4:13 left to play in the second quarter, which sparked a 10-0 run and gave Salisbury the lead for good.

Grubb, who finished with seven points, four rebounds, and three steals, knocked down another three-pointer with just over three minutes to go in the third quarter to give Salisbury a 46-31 lead, allowing the maroon and gold to blow the game open.

Salisbury had 11 different players tally at least three points, with three players scoring in double figures. Rachel Ryan, Kaylyn French, and Paige Bryce each scored 10 points apiece to lead the Sea Gulls. Ryan nearly notched a double-double with nine rebounds, helping Salisbury outrebound the Lions 36-33 on the day.

The Sea Gulls shot a blistering 47.5 percent from the field and a season-high 52.9 percent from three-point range, knocking down nine shots from beyond the arc on the afternoon.

Salisbury travels to take on Marymount (Va.) University on Wednesday, January 24 at 6 p.m.
