FROSTBURG, Md. – The No. 1 Salisbury University women's lacrosse team clinched the top seed in the Capital Athletic Conference tournament with a 16-4 win against Frostburg State University on Saturday night.

Dana King and Lydia McNulty each tallied four goals to lead Salisbury (15-1, 7-0 CAC). King's four goals all came in the first half, helping the Sea Gulls score the first 12 goals of the game before Frostburg State (5-10-1, 2-6 CAC) scored one to make it 12-1 heading into the break. King added two assists to end the day with six points.

McNulty notched two in each half, as Salisbury outscored the Bobcats 4-3 in the second frame. Two of McNulty's goals came from Alexis Strobel, who finished the night with three assists.

The Sea Gulls caused 10 Frostburg State turnovers, while the Bobcats turned the ball over 15 times in all. Brianna Held led the defensive charge with two caused turnovers, three groundballs, and two draw controls.

All three goalkeepers saw time in net for Salisbury, with Gianna Falcone and Skye Graham combining for four saves.

Salisbury concludes its regular season slate on Wednesday, April 25 when the team travels to take on St. Mary's College of Maryland. Opening draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
