NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team was honored as a 2026 Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and 11 Sea Gulls were recognized on the Division III Honor Roll,
announced by the association on Wednesday.
The Sea Gulls were one of 357 teams across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and the NAIA to earn the acknowledgment of academic excellence. To be considered, programs must sport a team GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
The team reached 10 or more honorees for a second consecutive year after putting 14 on the list last year. Graduate student

Regan McDonnell joined the 1,350 student-athletes from 174 different institutions that earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher as juniors, seniors or graduate students during the 2026 season.
The Sea Gulls posted a 20-1 record in 2026, making its third final four in the past six seasons by taking down Union, York (Pa.) and Christopher Newport before falling to Wesleyan (Conn.), 6-5 in the national semifinal in Rochester, New York.
