SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's and swimming team opened their season with a dual-meet sweep over the Marymount Saints on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Men
- Sean Cochran and Kameron Conley each won two individual medals at the meet. Cochran won the 200-meter freestyle (2:10.06) and the 400-meter freestyle (4:52.28) while Conley picked up wins in the 100- and 800-meter freestyles with a time of 57.79 seconds and 10:09.68.
- Richard Baker won the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:02.49 while Brandon Hoagland finished second in the event with a time of 1:08.27.
- Josh Brown earned gold in the 50-meter freestyle, clocking in at 23.79 seconds. Dylan Kaplan was the runner-up in the race with a time of 25.89 seconds.
- The 200-meter medley relay squad of Baker, Brown, Hoagland and Kyle Russell won the event in a time of 1:50.27. Salisbury's other tandem in the 200-meter medley relay of Kaplan, Conley, Jeff Roman and Josh Snyder tallied a second-place finish (1:59.19).
- The 200-meter freestyle team of Baker, Cochran, Brown and Mitchell McGee tallied a time of 1:40.03.
Women
- The women notched six individual wins at the meet.
- Angela Barzanti won the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 10:44.05.
- Chase McClure secured a victory in the 50-meter freestyle (29.03) while Natalie Eakin touched the line in 29.24 seconds.
- Eakin won the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:05.39. Teagan Rohrbaugh placed second in 1:06.82.
- Kirsten Graham notched first-place in the 100-meter butterfly (1:09.09).
- Emma Tarnosky secured victory in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:11.91.
- Mary Green earned a win in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 5:18.01.
- The 200-meter medley relay team of Tarnosky, Rohrbaugh, Graham and McClure won the race with a time of 2:08.95.
- The 200-meter freestyle tandem of McClure, Eakin, Graham and Emily Gavigan finished with a time of 2:00.78,
MEET NOTES
- As a team, Salisbury won 16 of the 23 events at the meet.
