GREENWOOD, Ind. – Eight members of the Salisbury University men's and women's swimming teams earned
placement on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-District teams, as revealed by the organization on Tuesday.

David Gardner,
Aidan Loehr, and
Troy Rowe represented the Sea Gulls on the Men's Academic All-District team, while the Women's Academic All-District team saw
Lily Griffin,
Alexa Hilty,
Maddie Powell, and
Addi Wood garner recognition.
Brewer (Jr. – Mechanicsburg, Pa.) is now a two-time CSC All-Academic honoree after carrying a 3.70 grade-point average as an Exercise Science major with a concentration on Pre-Physical Therapy, plus a minor in Biology. A four-time Dean's List honoree, he is a member of the Exercise Science Club and Relay for Life, as well as a newly-christened member of the Chi Alpha Omega honor society. This season in the pool, Brewer earned a trio of New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) silver medals and participated in three relay events at the NCAA Championships, earning Second-Team All-America honors in the 400 medley relay.
Gardner (Sr. – Easton, Md.) also becomes a back-to-back All-Academic winner courtesy of his 3.67 GPA as a Data Science major on the Geo-Analytics track, plus minors in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Business Analytics. He is currently Co-President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and has served as a videographer for both the swimming program and the Sea Gull Sports Network (SGSN) this season. Gardner set four personal records at the NJAC Championships in February.
Loehr (So. – Fulton, Md.) boasts a 3.50 GPA as an Exercise Science major on the Pre-Physical Therapy track. He is an active member of Relay for Life and SGLA and has made the Dean's List in every semester thus far. Loehr hit the NCAA B-cut in the 100 breast and won a bronze medal in the event at the NJAC Championships.
Rowe (Sr. – Mount Laurel, N.J.) holds a 3.64 GPA as a Marketing major. He is an active SAAC member and has made the Dean's List on five occasions. Rowe competed in four events at the NJAC Championships, setting personal records in three of them.
Griffin (Jr. – Taneytown, Md.) sports a 3.70 GPA majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Sports Medicine. Outside the pool, she is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma student-athlete honor society and works with SU Athletics as a gameday event staffer. Griffin medaled in six events at the NJAC Championships, including her first golds with the 200 medley and 400 free relay sides, and swam in six events at nationals.
Hilty (Sr. – York, Pa.) wrapped up her Bachelor's in Communications and English with a 3.71 GPA and currently holds a perfect 4.00 mark in the Public Communication Master's program. She is active in SAAC, the Lambda Pi Eta communication honor society, and Chi Alpha Sigma. Hilty won a gold, silver, and bronze medal at the NJAC Championships and swam in three events at nationals.
Powell (Jr. – Fairfax, Va.) is christened All-Academic for the second time after boasting a 3.73 GPA majoring in Computer Science and minoring in both Math and Information Systems. A four-time Dean's Lister, she belongs to the honor societies for math (Pi Mu Epsilon) and computer science (Upsilon Pi Epsilon) and serves as a lab assistant for the Computer Science 350 class at SU. Powell won gold in the 200 breast and silver in the 100 breast at the NJAC Championships and swam in three events at the NCAA Championships.
Wood (Jr. – Virginia Beach, Va.) boasts a 3.50 GPA as a Political Science major with minors in Conflict Analysis & Dispute Resolution and History. She also serves as a youth leader within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Wood earned one medal of each at the NJAC Championships and raced in three events at the NCAA Championships, finishing as national runner-up in the 1650 free to become the Sea Gulls' highest-placing national finisher in program history.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must be at least an academic and athletic sophomore with cumulative GPA of at least 3.50. Select All-District honorees will advance to balloting for the Academic All-America teams, which will be unveiled on Apr. 28 (women) and Apr. 29 (men).
