Box Score SALISBURY, Md. – The top-ranked Salisbury University men's lacrosse team used an eight-goal second quarter to roll to its eighth-straight win on Wednesday with an 18-7 victory over the Geneseo Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Sea Gulls started the first half on a 4-0 run with three unassisted Jarrett Bromwell goals and a Cross Ferrara goal.
- The Knights got on the board with just under a minute to go in the quarter with a goal from Sean Byrne. The Knights then rode that momentum into the second quarter with a quick goal by Robert Boneillo to cut the Sea Gull lead to two, 4-2.
- The Sea Gulls answered the Knight's goals with a 6-0 run. Ferrara added three more goals along with Brice Bromwell and Jack Dowd getting on the scoresheet to give the Sea Gulls the 10-2 lead midway through the second.
- The half ended with back-and-forth goals from each team. After a Drew Liguori goal for the Knights, Ferrara added in another for the Sea Gulls. The Bromwell brothers connected after another Knights goal that closed out the half with the Sea Gulls up, 12-4.
- The second half started with the sixth goal of the day from Ferrara before Geneseo responded with a man-up goal by Boneillo less than a minute later.
- Salisbury jumped out to its largest lead of the day, 18-5, with a five-goal run that spanned the third and fourth quarters. The run was highlighted by a Jackson Woodward goal on the transition at the 10:12 mark of the fourth.
- The Knights added two more goals late in the fourth to give the game its final margin.

- Robert Boneillo and Christian Marcello each scored two goals for the Knights
- Tim Brockwell dished out two assists.
- Ethan Cone tied a game-high with five ground balls
- Ryan Lee went 11-17 in faceoffs with four ground balls. Tommy Devito also added in five faceoff wins.
- Mark Pav recorded 14 saves.
