Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The No. 1/2 Salisbury University men's lacrosse team stumbled on the road, 17-10, to the No. 4 Tufts Jumbos in the 2022 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship Quarterfinals on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game opened with some back-and-forth action. The Sea Gulls opened the scoring in the second minute with a goal by Jarrett Bromwell. The Jumbos quickly tied the game at one just a minute later with a goal from Camden Kelleher.
- The Sea Gulls retook the lead on another Bromwell goal from Logan Posner with just under 10 minutes remaining in the first.
- Three minutes later, the Jumbos nodded the game back at two with a Jack Boyden goal.
- The Sea Gulls then went on a two-goal run led by goals by Charlie White and Cross Ferrara that gave the Sea Gulls a 4-2 lead with two minutes left in the first.
- Tommy Swank trimmed the deficit, 4-3, right before the first-quarter buzzer. Tufts then tied the game at four with a Mac Bredahl goal 30 seconds into the second.
- Ferrara gave Salisbury the 5-4 lead with a far-side shot with 12:57 left in the first half.
- Tufts rattled off a six-goal run in the second quarter to take a 10-5 lead before Ferrara pushed the deficit back to four, 10-6, with five minutes left in the half.
- Salisbury fought back into the game with a 3-1 run to start the second half. Goals by Posner and Isaac Thrasher began the half before Ferrara's tally made it an 11-9 game midway through the third.
- The Jumbos answered back with a five-goal run at the end of the third and beginning parts of the fourth to extend their lead to 16-9 midway through the fourth.
- Ryan Brown added a goal from Ferrara to reduce the Sea Gull deficit to six with 5:46 remaining before Tufts added insurance with three minutes left in the contest.

- Max Bredahl led the Jumbos with eight points on four goals and four assists.
- Jack Boyden added in seven points on four goals and three assists.
- Tommy Swank added in five goals.
- Mason Kohn went 9-for-16 with a game-high nine ground balls. Parker Merrill added in eight faceoff wins with three ground balls
- Kyle Adelmann led the Jumbo defense with two caused turnovers and three ground balls.
- Conner Garzone earned the win in net with 10 saves.
THE WRAP
- Salisbury finishes the 2022 season with a 20-2 record and champions of the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference.
- It is the 17th 20-plus win season in program history.
