Volleyball sweeps Trinity Washington, 3-0

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University volleyball team swept its third straight opponent, taking down the Trinity Washington Tigers, 3-0 (25-3, 25-2, 25-6), on Wednesday night at Maggs Physical Activities Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Sea Gulls jumped out to an early 10-2 lead thanks in part to four service aces, including a pair by Natalie Uibel.

  • After Trinity nabbed the first point of the third set, the Sea Gulls rattled off nine in a row, with Sacha Mardesich landing three aces during the run.
  • Salisbury maintained a comfortable lead for the rest of the fixture and won the final point of the match on a Tiger service error, completing the sweep with a 25-6 final-set victory.
