SALISBURY, Md. – A tough battle between two Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference rivals went against the Salisbury University men's tennis team as the Sea Gulls dropped a 6-3 decision to the No. 40 CNU Captains on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Christopher Catan and Mitchell Desman earned a point for the Sea Gulls in second doubles. Catan and Desman defeated Alex Seretis and Ashton Legum, 8-6.
• The No. 1 doubles team of Jhayden Pappas and Gianluca Beaujon, and the No. 3 doubles team of Aron Bursztyn and Russell Willenborg fought hard in their respective doubles matches but dropped both with the same score, 8-7 (7-3).
• Pappas and Willenborg earned three-set victories for the Sea Hulls. Pappas outlasted Alex Strause in second singles with a score of 7-6, 3-6, 6-4. Willenborg took down Ahun Vodela in third singles (6-3, 2-6, 6-2)>

• Salisbury will be back in action tomorrow when they take on the York Spartans.
