NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The fourth-seeded Salisbury University men's tennis team rolled to a 5-0 victory on Friday over the fifth-seeded Pratt Cannoneers in the first round of the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Championship Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Salisbury got out to a 3-0 start to the match in the doubles matches.
• In No. 2 doubles, Christopher Catan and Mitchell Desman blanked Cole Rudy and Matthew Stachura, 8-0.
• Gianluca Beaujon and Jhayden Pappas as well as Russell Willenborg and Aron Bursztyn collected 8-1 wins in No. 1 and No. 3 doubles respectively.
• Willenborg and Bursztyn quickly swept their singles matches, 6-0, 6-0, in No. 3 and No. 4 singles to clinch the match.
