Women's Swimming leaves Baltimore with a win over Frostburg State

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Salisbury University women's swimming team heads home victorious over Frostburg State while they could not overcome UMBC.

  • UMBC defeats Salisbury, 148-57
  • Salisbury defeats Frostburg State, 145-60
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Sea Gulls found themselves on the podium frequently Saturday afternoon. In the 1,000-yard freestyle, Olivia Totaro took home third place with a time of 11:01.73.
  • Salisbury earned another third-place finish in the 200-yard IM as Bryn Krasauskis finished with a 2:18.87.
  • Lily Griffin secured a win in the 100-yard butterfly as she finished just under a second ahead of the swimmer behind her.
  • The 100-yard backstroke saw the Sea Gulls pick up a second-place finish as Emma Schlutt took the podium in between two UMBC swimmers.
  • Samantha Watson earned a third-place finish for Salisbury in the 100-yard breaststroke as she was just shy of second place, finishing with a time of 1:10.36.
