The Salisbury University men's soccer team makes a familiar trip to Fredericksburg, Va. for the 2024 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Men's Soccer Championship, hosted by Mary Washington at the Battleground Outdoor Complex. The team commences its tournament run on Friday, Nov. 8th with an 11 a.m. showdown against the top-seeded and top-ranked Eagles.

The Sea Gulls closed the regular season with a pair of draws against C2C rival Christopher Newport and a nail-biting defeat to No. 1 UMW, entering the postseason with a 5-7-4 overall record.
Gavin Miller has led the Sea Gull attack in 2024, ranking third in the C2C in goals (6) and fifth in points (13).
Brady Young ranks second on the team with 10 points, sharing a tie for second with a trio of goals in the campaign.
Liam Pierce shares second with Young, firing three goals on seven shots in his sophomore campaign.
Freshman standout Tristan Brannock picked up five points on a pair of goals and one assist in his introduction to collegiate soccer.
Clif Nehman and Josh Wendel have split time in goal this season. Nehman boasts a 1.54 GAA with 35 saves and a 3-6-2 record, while Wendel touts a 1.27 GAA with 21 saves and a 2-1-2 tally.
The Sea Gulls drew even with the Captains of Christopher Newport for the second time in three games in the regular season finale, 1-1.
Gavin Miller's fourth free-kick goal in the 89th minute could not lift the Sea Gulls to a win as the hosts scored with just 10 grains of sand left in the hourglass.
Josh Wendel stood tall in goal, making eight saves before conceding the game-tying strike.
The Sea Gulls are pursuing their ninth conference championship in program history and their first since 2015.

Obviously, we have an exciting opportunity this weekend to compete for a conference championship. Our schedule has prepared us to take on any challenge and we eagerly await Friday. Looking back over the course of our season, we have grown in so many different ways. I know our guys will be up and ready for Friday.
