Women’s Soccer’s season ends in C2C semifinals against No. 3 CNU

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – The fourth-seeded Salisbury University women's soccer team saw the 2024 campaign come to an end on Friday afternoon, dropping a 4-0 decision at the hands of top-seeded and third-ranked CNU in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) semifinals on the campus of UC Santa Cruz.

The Sea Gulls (5-6-7) were held without a shot in the opening period while CNU's Emma Ricci and Alex Dalakis each found the onion bag in the half. Salisbury tacked on two attempts in the second half, but Lexi Hazelgrove and Bella Ventimiglia each scored to set the 4-0 final margin.

With the win, the Captains (15-0-2) advance to Sunday's C2C Championship match, facing the winner between Mary Washington and Santa Cruz.
