The Sea Gulls (11-3) breezed through the early minutes, establishing a 21-4 lead through 10 minutes. Jordan Oates picked up seven points in the stretch, while Tyler Ball and Leon Elung each chipped in four during a 10-of-16 shooting stretch for the Sea Gulls.

Through 20 minutes, Oates logged a game-high 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting while adding seven rebounds. Six other Sea Gulls added their names to the scoring column in the opening stanza.

It was Reed Rebstock who led the charge early in the second half, scoring seven amidst a 15-4 opening to roll out SU's largest lead of the tournament through four minutes, 48-23. Salisbury made six of their seven attempts from the floor in that four-minute stretch including a pair of triples.

The Pacers responded with a 7-2 run to bring the contest back within 20 points, 50-30. Marywood answered a pair of quick baskets by Daniel Oyediran with an 8-2 run, setting the score at 56-38 with just under eight minutes left.

Rebstock tallied back-to-back baskets following the Pacer push, igniting a stretch that saw SU double up Marywood, 14-7, to lead 70-45. The Pacers netted nine of the next 12, interrupted by Jayden Johnson's first collegiate trey, to trail 73-54 with under three minutes to go.

Calvin Thomas picked up his first points of the 2024-25 season in the final minutes, sandwiching an Elijah Bryan slam with a pair of successful looks in the paint to help set the 79-64 final score.
