Men’s Tennis exits Georgia by besting Covenant, 5-4

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Involved in another razor-thin margin, the Salisbury University men's tennis team concluded its tour of Georgia with a second positive result in three days, taking down the Covenant Scots 5-4 on Wednesday afternoon at the Covenant Tennis Complex.

  • Salisbury earned the team win thanks to its singles depth. Suri set the tone in fourth singles with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Solomon Crouch.
  • Russell Willenborg locked down a 6-4, 6-2 decision in fifth singles, and Bursztyn got SU over the hump with a 6-2, 6-4 triumph in sixth singles.
