Women’s Tennis stumbles at No. 41 TCNJ

EWING, N.J. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team couldn't erase an early deficit at the hands of the 41st-ranked TCNJ Lions, falling 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the TCNJ Tennis Complex.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Gibelle Beaujon and Olivia Hall earned the Sea Gulls a first-doubles win, prevailing over Zoey Albert and Chase Eisenberg 8-5.
  • Beaujon delivered SU another top-flight dub in first singles, taking down Aira Abalos 7-6 (7-2), 6-3.
  • Evelyn Whiteside came closest to winning another singles match for SU, winning four games each in a two-set defeat in sixth singles.
UP NEXT
  • The Sea Gulls will return home for their final two matches of the year, starting on Friday, Apr. 26, against Stevenson.
  • First serve from the SU Tennis Center is set for 2 p.m.
