Salisbury track and field has already had a fantastic start to the indoor season. Three records have already fallen in two meets into the 2024-25 track season. The Sea Gulls return plenty of talent from a successful year last season. In the last outdoor season, Kai Smith was named Men's Athlete of the Year, and head coach Jim Jones headed the Men's Coaching Staff of the Year. Nine Sea Gull men's athletes across eight events earned USTFCCCA All-Region accolades. SU sent a pair of athletes to the outdoor national meet, including Smith in the 200 meters and Logan Kelsch, who finished 17th in the discus throw. Anna Bodmer (10,000 meters) earned All-Region honors on the women's side for the outdoor season. The Salisbury University track and field teams won eight gold medals and each recorded top-three team finishes at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Outdoor Championships. On the indoor side, the Sea Gulls return Smith and Bodmer who also earned Indoor All-Region Honors. Both teams placed third at last year's C2C Indoor Championships. After two indoor meets this season, the Sea Gulls have eight different times or distances that rank top 50 nationally.
