SALISBURY, Md. - For the first time, the Walter Camp Foundation is recognizing an NCAA Division III Football All-America team, and
Tre Price from the Salisbury University football program has earned his fourth All-American honor.
Price, the Westminster, Md. native, keeps racking up the awards. Price was named AFCA All-America First Team, Associated Press Division III Second Team All-America, which was a first for the program, and All-NJAC First Team. Now he adds Walter Camp All-American to the titles.
Price played 12 games for Salisbury on the front line helping the offense average 46 points and 471 yards per game. The offense was also 56 percent on third downs this season which helped the team
earn their fifth undefeated regular season and sixth NCAA quarterfinal appearance.
The Walter Camp Football Foundation is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1967. The Foundation operates year-round working towards overseeing the selection of the current year's entries into the oldest college All-America Football Team as voted on by the FBS Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors. Select and honor other individuals who have distinguished themselves, and donate financial support to worthy charities and youth-oriented organizations.
