Field Hockey – 3rd | Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III Coaches Poll, Oct. 7
Salisbury (9-1) moved from fourth to third with 423 points, overtaking fourth-ranked Middlebury (423) and trailing only top-ranked Christopher Newport (475) and second-ranked Johns Hopkins (451).
The Sea Gulls scored 12 goals over two games, besting then-No. 13 York (Pa.) 4-0 on Wednesday and Oswego State 8-0 on Saturday.
Morgan Bradford scored a pair of goals in the victory at York, while
Morgan Davis found the back of the cage twice against OSU, while a stalwart defense extended SU's shutout streak to six games.
In one of the most highly-anticipated matchups across Division III field hockey this season, SU travels down to Newport News, Va., for a Wednesday afternoon battle with top-ranked CNU. Opening pushback is set for 4 p.m.

Salisbury (4-0) moved into the national top five, up one spot from last week, with 495 points. North Central (Ill.) [623], Mount Union (599), Johns Hopkins (577), and UW-La Crosse (531) are the only schools ranked ahead of SU.
The Sea Gulls steamrolled TCNU 55-10 in Saturday's home debut and New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) opener. SU put up 469 total yards of offense, with quarterback
SyRus McGowan accounting for 238 combined yards through the air and ground and three total touchdowns.
SU is back inside Sea Gull Stadium on Saturday with its Homecoming matchup against Kean. Kickoff of the NJAC showdown is set for 1 p.m.
