INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time in program history, the Salisbury University volleyball holds a card for its fourth consecutive dance. The Sea Gulls earned an at-large bid into the 2025 NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament, whose
64-team field was unveiled on Monday afternoon.
The Sea Gulls will travel to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge for a first-round bout against Colorado College on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 11:30 a.m. The Salisbury-CC winner will advance to face either Trinity (Texas) or Manhattanville in the second round on Friday. Potential third-round foes on Saturday include hosts MIT, Pacific Lutheran, Williams, and Franklin & Marshall.
Salisbury enters the NCAA Tournament boasting a 28-6 record, good for the program's most wins in one season since 2013. The Sea Gulls reached the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Tournament championship for the fifth straight year before dropping the final to Christopher Newport. SU heads into the national bracket
ranked 17th in the NCAA Power Index (NPI), eighth-highest of the Division III at-large qualifiers.
With their fourth straight bid, the Sea Gulls have now established a new team benchmark for longest NCAA Tournament streak, having qualified for all four dances since 2022. SU previously made the national field three times in a row on two occasions (2007-09, 2011-13).
