No. 31 Men’s Tennis sees winning streak snapped against No. 18 Babson

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The 31st-ranked Salisbury University men's tennis team saw its season-opening six-match winning streak come to an end at the hands of 18th-ranked Babson, falling to the Beavers 7-0 on Monday afternoon at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.
 
MATCH NOTES
  • Aron Bursztyn and Gurv Suri showed fight in third doubles, pushing their foes past the match's regular length while coming up short, 7-5.
  • Asher Willenborg won the first set of first singles before eventually bowing to Brady Anderson (2-6, 6-1, 6-3).
  • Suri (6-3, 3-6, 7-6) and Maas Jacobs (6-3, 5-7, 6-4) each captured a set in third and sixth singles, respectively.
 
The Sea Gulls will stay in Claremont to face 33rd-ranked Grinnell on Wednesday, with first serve slated for 6 p.m. EDT/3 p.m. PDT.
