CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team suffered its first defeat of the spring, falling 7-0 to the Whitman Blues on Monday afternoon at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.
MATCH NOTES
- Lily Muir and Evelyn Whiteside faired best in doubles play, pushing second doubles beyond regulation in a 7-5 defeat.
- Olivia Hall captured five games, putting up a strong effort despite falling short in second singles (6-2, 6-3).
The Sea Gulls will continue their West Coast sojourn on Tuesday at Chapman. First serve from Orange, Calif. is set for 12 p.m. EDT/9 a.m. PDT.
