ORANGE, Calif. – The Salisbury University women's tennis team endured another defeat on the West Coast, falling to the Chapman Panthers 6-1 on Tuesday morning at the Anderson Tennis Center.
MATCH NOTES
- Ridgley Lake and Katherine Raab put up a strong showing in third doubles, taking it past regulation despite coming up on the short end, 7-5.
- Gibelle Beaujon captured the Sea Gulls' lone point of the match in first singles, besting the Panthers' Lucy Erickson in straight sets [6-2, 7-6 (7-1)].
The Sea Gulls will return east and get back to work at home against Washington College on Wednesday, Mar. 26. First serve from the SU Tennis Center is slated for 3 p.m.
