SALISBURY, Md. – The seventh-ranked Salisbury University women's lacrosse team showcased one of its best offensive outings of 2025 on Wednesday evening, posting its seventh victory of the season with a 20-2 victory over the Neumann University Knights at Sea Gull Stadium.
The Sea Gulls (7-3) opened the midweek matchup on a 7-0 run, beginning with a tally from
Julianna Ott to open the scoring just 76 seconds into the game.
Miranda Mears would turn dishes from
Audrey Harrington and
Liz Haney into consecutive tallies including
a highlight-worthy behind-the-back finish before
Audrey Harrington dished her second assist of the quarter to Parker to build a four-goal lead through 15 minutes.
Parker opened the second stanza with a find of Haney for a player-down punch-in before netting her own from the eight-meter less than a minute later. The Harrington-Mears connection renewed for a player-up finish to establish the 7-0 lead with just 12:36 to go in the opening half.
Lauren Hackett fired her first two goals in Sea Gull Stadium this season just over four minutes apart to answer Neumann's first goal before the Knights (5-7) found their final goal of the battle with 4:22 left in the tilt.
Reagan Davis ignited a transition tally soon after, causing a turnover and scooping the ground ball before sprinting near the length of the field and connecting with Ott for SU's 10th goal.
Mears and Ott combined to establish a double-digit Sea Gull lead at the break, 12-2.
Avery Dunbar and
Carly Hoffman tacked on a pair in the third quarter before a six-goal outburst paved the way for the 20-2 final score.
Celia Ortiz logged her first career point on an assist to Dunbar to open the frame and
Kendall Murphy sent in her first career goal from the eight soon after.
Ally Mathis logged her first career multi-goal effort with her pair of fourth-quarter finishes, while
