SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's soccer team rallied in the second half, but could not overcome the deficit and fell 2-1 on Thursday against the Virginia Wesleyan University Marlins inside the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Complex.

Ashley Pantano was fouled inside the box to give the Sea Gulls a penalty kick in the final five minutes of the contest.
Olivia Pasko walked up to the dot and buried the PK inside the right post to cut the Marlins' lead in half.
Pasko had another attempt minutes later; however, her attempt to tie the game was saved.
