SPARKS, Md. – The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team tied for the most USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America selections with five Sea Gulls landing on the AA teams,
announced by the outlet on Tuesday afternoon.
Julianna Ott and
Abby Fleishell collected first-team honors, while
Audrey Harrington made the second team.
Paige Ellis and
Miranda Mears were listed as honorable mentions.
Ott, a senior midfielder from Woodbine, Md., reeled in a team-high 76 draw controls to go along with 42 goals and 3 assists offensively. The Glenelg product scored a hat-trick in SU's regional semifinal matchup with St. John Fisher last May, and tallied three or more goals in seven contests last season.
Fleishell, a senior defender from Sykesville, Md., was the key piece for an SU defense that allowed 7.86 goals per game a season ago by leading the team in ground balls (45) and caused turnovers (36). Fleishell ranked second in draw controls with 59 to complement Ott's 76.
Harrington, a senior attacker from Ellicott City, Md., picked up accolades on and off the field in 2025, being named the Coast-to-Coast (C2C) Offensive Player of the Year while being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American Women's At-Large Second Team. The Mount Hebron product led the C2C in assists (42) while netting 34 goals and putting 78.9 percent of her shot attempts on cage.
Ellis, a senior goalkeeper from Fairfax, Va., made 20 starts and carried an 8.31 goals against average, making 128 saves on 281 shots on cage. Ellis posted a career-high 14 save performance against Gettysburg last March and followed with allowing six goals to William Smith while making 10 saves in a win.
Mears, a senior attacker from Parkside High School in Salisbury, Md., put together a second career 40-goal season for the Gulls in 2025 by scoring 48 goals in 21 games played. The former Parkside Ram scored seven goals in three NCAA Tournament contests during the Sea Gulls' 2025 run.
Salisbury gets the 2026 campaign started on Saturday, Feb. 7, against Stevenson at noon inside Mustang Stadium in Owings Mills, Md.
