SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's basketball team
released its 2026-27 schedule on Friday. The Sea Gulls prepare for a 25-game slate in the seventh season under the guidance of head coach
Maurice Williams, hosting eight contests inside the friendly confines of Maggs Gymnasium.
The Sea Gulls start their season at home on Saturday, Nov. 8, against Stevenson at 2:00 p.m., then host Marymount (Va.) on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m.
SU takes its first road trip of the season to the Old Dominion to participate in the Frankie Allen Tip-Off Classic on the campus of Roanoke College to square off with Greensboro College on Friday, Nov. 13 and an opponent to be determined the following day.
The Governor's Challenge awaits the Maroon and Gold on Friday, Nov 20 and Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Wicomico County Civic Center. Salisbury will face two programs from the Empire State in St. Joseph's - Brooklyn for the first contest of the weekend and SUNY Oneonta in the ladder match.
Salisbury will then travel to Galloway, New Jersey, to battle Stockton on Tuesday, Nov. 24, then duel with Eastern Shore foe Washington (Md.) in Chestertown on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. After two weeks off, the Sea Gulls take part in the H-SC Holiday Classic and take on Hampden-Sydney on Sunday, Dec. 20, with a second matchup the next day to be determined.
The Sea Gulls round out 2026 at the Double Tree Holiday Tournament at Albright College for a contest with Arcadia on Tuesday, Dec. 29, which will decide their second matchup of the tournament the following day.
Two road bouts with Swarthmore on Saturday, Jan. 2 and Notre Dame (Md.) on Monday, Jan. 4, begin the new year for the Gulls, then SU returns to the Crossroads of Delmarva for a two-game homestand with Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 3 p.m. and Gallaudet on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 5 p.m.
SU then prepares for three games in five days. Starting with a back-to-back against Regent (Jan. 23) and The Apprentice School (Jan. 24), followed by the Gold Rush at Maggs Gym against Christopher Newport on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. The Maroon and Gold complete their road portion of the schedule by heading to Mary Washington (Jan. 30), Lancaster Bible (Feb. 3) and Christopher Newport (Feb. 6).
Three tilts at home commence with Mary Washington coming to town on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. Senior Day and the Fight For Ferguson Game will take place against Regent on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m., then SU's season finale takes place on Monday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. when UC Santa Cruz comes in from the West Coast.
Postseason play is set to begin at the end of February, with the 2027 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Men's Basketball Championship beginning with quarterfinal action on Thursday, Feb. 25 in Newport News, Virginia, inside the Freeman Center on the campus of Christopher Newport University. Semifinal play begins on Feb. 26 and the final is slated on Feb. 27.
Tickets for all eight home games and a 2026-27 Season Pass will be made available within the upcoming weeks.
